These include a general overview of OneDrive and some of it’s newer features as well as some guided walkthroughs (video and step-by-step guides) of the actual file-sharing process. Check out these new pages we’ve created for you:

For more in-depth learning, be sure to visit JCCC Microsoft Learning Pathways.

If you’re looking for SharePoint information, stay tuned. We’ll be creating some new trainings for that separately.

Tip! – Word Template Assignment in Canvas https://blogs.jccc.edu/2022/10/17/tip-word-template-assignment-in-canvas/ Mon, 17 Oct 2022 18:14:03 +0000 http://blogs.jccc.edu/?p=5773 Did you know – students do NOT like downloading a document juuuuust to fill it out and reupload it. So let’s make it easy on them. You can now add an assignment with a Word document that students can edit and turn in without leaving Canvas. AND you can see the results in the SpeedGrader.

Here’s a quick video on how it’s done:

And that’s not all! I also have a student version you can put in your Canvas class so students can get instructions on how to do this if they have questions. Find that video in your YuJa Media (Shared Folders > All Instructors) or use the link directly:

As always, let us know if you have any questions!

Tip! – The BEST Way to Add PowerPoints to Canvas https://blogs.jccc.edu/2022/01/25/tip-the-best-way-to-add-powerpoints-to-canvas/ Tue, 25 Jan 2022 18:42:08 +0000 http://blogs.jccc.edu/?p=5509 Well hello there. I know you. You have a lot of PowerPoints in your class. Like, a LOT. And they probably take up a lot of space and you’re embarrassed to call EdTech AGAIN to ask for more space. It’s okay. We have a solution.

Store those PowerPoints in OneDrive and use the magic of the cloud to deliver them to your Canvas course and students. It’s easy AND you can brag about knowing how to code (even though you don’t know how to code).
